Brahms Requiem

UWA Choral Society and Fremantle Symphony Orchestra join forces under the direction of conductor Kris Bowtell to perform one of the greatest choral works ever written, Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem (German Requiem). Referred to as the "human" Requiem, it is a message of hope, consolation and compassion. Deeply moving and profound, Brahms Requiem is a work of grand scope and lasting excellence that surpasses religious context to convey peace and hope through the power of  music.

Chorales and Cantatas

Chorales and Cantatas is a gala performance celebrating the great choral and solo works, from the Baroque to Broadway, under the direction of conductor Sarah Mills Menogue. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Winthrop Halls, UWACS will delight and entertain with excerpts from works by great composers including Vivaldi, Mozart, Verdi, Lloyd Webber and Schonberg. This diverse and uplifting performance is not to be missed.
